MILDURA SPEEDWAY 4th JAN 2008

Really hot and dry track. Still 44 degrees at 7pm.
Keith's first heat he was out of position 3 alongside Mick Doblo. By lap 2 he was in position 2 and finished that way. The car temp was getting hot.

Keith's second heat out of position 6. Finished the same way as the car was hot. Keith and crew did a leak down test and things proved to be ok. They decided to have a more extensive look in the morning.

AVALON SPEEDWAY 5th JAN 2008

Keith's first heat out of position 9. Into the 2nd restart Peter Nicola got sideways in front of Keith. He tried to avoid the situation, and almost had it pulled off, but Wesley Hose came in and hit him hard, therefore causing Keith to pull off with steering damage.

Second heat Keith starts out of 2nd. Track was black and slick, and the car temp still to warm and the car very loose.
Keith finished in 4th behind Tony Barklimore, Dan Miller and Wayne Brimms.

Keith qualified 6th for the B Main. After a slight push up from another car he lost a couple of positions, but Gee was never out of sight after staring alongside him on the grid. Keith finished in 6th.

As no-one that finished the B Main used there provisional start, the first 6 across the line from the B Main could go in the A. Keith started in 20th. With 13 laps to go Keith did the big outside run and passed 3 cars in 1 lap. With Matt Pascoe following him on the high line. Keith parked on the infield with 10 laps to go as the temp was heating up again. He ended up finishing in 15th position, earning some well needed points.

Since these last 2 meetings the car has been checked. The over heating problem has been found. The core in the radiator was swollen therefore restricting air flow. So a new one will be swapped over.

Next race is Hamilton11th Jan and Mt Gambier 12th Jan.
The final round is Murray Bridge 19th Jan.
